Burger King at 1510 North Lewis Avenue, Waukegan, Illinois.

The people working here are fine most of the time. (Probably depends on the shift.) Nothing great, but nothing as awful as some stories seem. This used to be the "better" Burger King on Lewis (comparing to the one near Yorkhouse), but now they're about on the same level. So service isn't as good as it used to be.

The thing with this location is that the property itself is being poorly managed and neglected. Potholes in the parking lot, lights outside not working, and the building itself is starting to look pretty shoddy from lack of maintenance. It's kind of how the Arby's on Grand Av. used to be before it shut down. So it'd be sad to see this spot go for similar reasons, this location should do well since it's convenient to get to and there's a lot of traffic on Lewis Av.
